That is awesome news. Yeah, I don't think Wells Fargo or Bank America would have been so giving. You guys should latch on to any company that will give you a temporary job and work your butts off to secure something full time

Oh, Snickford, my heart goes out to you and your family. It sounds like things have stabilized and you are a financial genius for selling the stuff you did.

America cannot support the 300 million plus people that live here in the US, even in boom times. How's that for gloom and doom? Sorry for being a downer

I heard today that something like 7 million folks have been out of work for more than 6 months in the US. That is downright scary

I've been on a disability income for over ten years and have learned how to cut a few corners. I pay zero for my telephone because I'm on a relatives family plan. (it doesn't matter if the account holder is in the same state. Depending on the company, the account holder is allowed so many phones at no extra cost.) I share wifi with a neighbor and we each pay half the bill.

that's really smart to share wifi. That's a landline you're talking about sharing with your family? I think we need to keep the household cost cutting ideas flowing. It sucks out there

Jean, those 7 million folks out of work for six months or longer are gonna face a real tough time. They're up againist 22 year old college graduates and companies think they can teach experience in a few month's time.

Home prices are set to take another turn for the worse. I know spring and summer are coming up, but unemployment is still rising a tad and homes are running out of wriggle room with their finances. All the experts point to next spring 2011 for home prices to start picking up

Saxman, home prices are pretty regional but in general these experts are correct. The unemployment rate always gets worse as the economy improves because people that dropped out of the job hunt, jump back in
