Thread: American Dream

There are 310 million folks living in the US, that's what the last census said, we can only take care of maybe 75% of them. A lot of illegals are already leaving the US, but we need to kick plenty of LEGALS out, and I don't know how to do that exactly

Mickey, and how do you propose we go about kicking LEGALS out? Sounds fine on paper but do we just drag them to the Canadian border and say, "Leave, enjoy the rest of your lives, and he's a few bucks for your trouble."

Gather them all up and drop them off in front of the Mexican drug cartel compounds

Real nice Zoom. How about something realistic? hmmm? Our society just isn't ready for a level of poverty we haven't seen since the 1930s. We barely held together as a country then and we could easily end up in the same boat in a year or two. How is that for doomsayer?

It's not just the US, look at Europe. They're just in the same mess

If they redo that housing credit again, I AM GOING TO PUKE. We are becoming more socialistic than China and the old USSR

OneandDone, then go ahead and puke because that was a very effective program that got home sales moving in this country. We cannot worry about the deficit right now.

Obama has been radio silent about the economy since Romer decided to leave. He is without a rudder and that ain't good

I read this week that with the population growth and the 8.5 million jobs lost during the past two years that it will take until 2020 to get the national unemployment rate down into the 5-6% range
